Mot failure

Unfortunately my beloved accord Type r (I’ve owned for over a decade) has failed it’s MOT due to rust , it’s in a weird place near the engine / inner wheel arch..
The car itself has s full service history with genuine Honda parts and every receipt from every owner since new, so it drives like a dream, solid gear box , full cambelt changes at prescribed intervals with all associated parts changed at same time. The interior is immaculate as is the paint job..
I hate the thought of scrapping it, but at the same I’m struggling to find welders I trust to do the work, especially as it may involve moving some major components etc..
I don’t want to scrap it, would much rather an enthusiast took it on or I found a way to fix..
Any advice on selling it in this condition or if there are specialists that could safely take on that job would be well received..
Thanks

Ben has a mate who owns a breakdown company so costs aren't that extreme

Sounds just like Marks Car, stunning looking and he had to spend 7.5K on welding.

I guess I find out and if not make sure she goes to a good home !
Could have spent 7.5k on a garage and I wouldn’t be in this predicament!

What was you trying to say 'dog'?
And to the OP I would get a quote to find out how much it will be to repair, before scrapping it.
