1999 Honda Accord Type-R

Here we have for sale, my very muched loved Honda. 3 happy years of ownership and maintained regardless of cost, what she needed, she got!

Full service history up to 87k, then serviced by myself at my local garage. And LOADS more history added by myself. She has just over 99k, the engine is as sweet as a nut. And pulls very very strong. As for one of the few left ATR's out there, i think she's a quick one :-)

And there's probably more i cant remember?

It has air con, electric windows, remote central locking, CAT 1 alarm, HID headlights, optional extra front mudflaps, rare armrest, ABS, limited slip diff, fog lights (one was broken, so i converted it into a one off air intake as shown in pics).

The dreaded 5th gear syncros have all been done, gearbox is really smooth. It also has orginal Honda MTF fluid installed (£9 a litre)

Ive coverd just under 10k in my ownership, and she's had 3 oil changes, 2 gear box oil changes, plugs, oil filters. Front and rear ARB bushes, Front an rear drop links, track control arms, track rod ends, front top wishbones, cambelt, cambelt tensioner, secondary 02 sensor, and this week a brand new primary O2 sensor, with the valve clearances all reset. No expence spared :-)

The pair of nobs above pushing fuel prices up. You could say she's wasted too, as the missus had a stroke before xmas, so she doesnt drive at the moment, so its wasted. as i work during the day, and only really get to use her at week ends


There are stone chips on the bonnet, and there is the odd trolly ding as you'd expect from a car of its age. But she's a clean one, body work is quite tidy, and regularly cleaned wax, clay beaded etc, interior is in very good condition, no rips tears or staines.

Im after a BMW 330d manual chaps. something with abit of poke, but still keeps the missus happy :-)

Had a call from a guy, asking if I wanted to swap for a seat Leon tdi 150 (despite what the piston heads advert said?)

Seemed a nice enough bloke, it had done 120k miles plus, but very good service history, well looked after.

Now I declined, but after lookin at these seat's. There actually not bad.

Anyone had any experience with them at all?

I went for a spin in a diesel ibiza last night, basic tuning had about 200bhp. The thing was pretty nice, did the business without much effort and the shove from all that torque was lovely.
