hi cliff,

is it possible to call you mid-morning tomorrow, or if its tricky for you, could call me whenever you get a minute ?

ta !

Hi Paul,

I'm free parts of next week. Do you want to come and see the car?

Just drove the car for about a mile last night, it started first time and engine sounds fine. Only issue now is the EM light has come on.

My crank pulley dropped off last week. bolt sheared off. All the PAS went and alternator stopped. EML came on. I thought the worst.
I got it towed to a garage. £70 later the sheared bolt was out. Everything else was fine and it was back on the road.
Get a second opinion. it doesn't sound that bad.

That's what I thougt would be the case but I don't know of any reputable garages here that would do that. If I took it to Honda, there is no doubt they would make a bigger deal out of it. I just don't fancy towing it from one garage to the next. Appreciate your input though, thanks.

Cheers!

I like to put it back on the road to be honest, its too good to break. Tons of receipts, full Honda history apart from last at vtec direct. My brother was planning on having it but we'll see?
Just sorted the eml light, the valve clearances were a mile out! 0.90mm out to be exact on one cylinder!! :nono: Runs sweet just need to replace the pulley now.

You're after a door right? I'll llet you know if I do go down that route. :agree:
