I'm pretty pleased with the Bilsteins I have on the Saxo so I would hope they do some decent kit for the ATR.

Splendid, I shall look in to those and also the arb and bracing options.

I'll miss the chassis stiffness a cage gives on track but it's a bit of overkill for the road, a cage also adds loads on my insurance premium despite it being a safety feature, me being over 30 and listening to radio 2 when I go and get my shopping from Tesco.

From someone who has had both, the DC2 is the car for you IMO...

The ATR is a better all rounder perhaps, but the DC2 is a better track choice. Lighter, more revs, more focussed & precise

Still very very good everyday too. You are looking at a genuine 200BHP with some well thought out mods
00 Integra R DC2 51k
95 BB1 VTEC Prelude track toy- 206bhp/158lbs/ft

I know the exhaust side is the weak spot with the ukdm ITR's, sorting out the breathing will free things up a bit. What I need to work out is if my track mileage over the course of a year would warrant something a bit more focussed like the itr or whether the number and manner of road miles I do would be better suited to an ATR.

Things aren't particularly settled at the moment so I won't be making any decisions lightly or until I've driven the suspects I have in mind to make sure it's the right choice for me. I may want to build another track car at some point for some budget fun so if that were to happen an ATR would probably better suit, if not then an ITR may be the better choice.

Time will tell but I find the whole hunt for a new car quite exciting and fun so in the time it takes me to get the funds together I'll be looking deeply in to all my possibilities.

theres very few cars in the 200bhp range anywhere near the weight of an atr, ive been shopping for months wat put me off a 530d 230bhp version was a kerb weight of 1650kg lol and looked at all sorts, thing that comes close is a renault clio, looked at a dc5 but noway am i paying the insurance i could have a decent car on credit with the same amount id pay in insurance alone for a dc5. id rather have a 07 2.0 clio think they look cool as f*** with the cup chassi., if weight is a problem then the only option is to buy old cars or new small cars.
