how much for the 4.4kg flywheel? Is the 'race' clutch suitable for road use? :dunno:

No chance I'll be removing that, it's already in the box!

It's only an Exedy stage 2 face with a stage 1 pressure plate, so feels like normal underfoot still. It can just take a lot more heat/abuse thanks to the friction material which I believe is rated at ~350lb tq. :agree:

Ideally I need to get the cages painted and see the car 'rolling' with engine and box for someone to finish they way they see fit and then sell everything else? :dunno:

It would be much easier going as a job lot, not as profitable of course.

Would be a great project for someone to use in that Honda race series next year.

Have you advertised on p/h's as a track day car, or maybe HOT etc.

May be worth heading over to the VTEC Challenge 2011 site as they may let you sell it on there as it would be suited for the race series next year :dunno: Have a word with Mike or Kris :agree:

Not yet because it needs sanding, cleaning and painting inside, looks a bit scrappy at the moment... not like nearly £4,000 worth of FIA cage! :(

Ed if you can spend some time on it, and just get it upto a ok level without spending alot of cash on it, regards VTEC challenge people are trying to sell there "ok track" cars for silly money thinking people will buy them for VTEC challenge.

I reckon this would go for a good amount if it was running etc, you know what i mean mate?

I have a month to shift it and I have no time... that's the problem. The car is sat on the drive in pitch black, the garage isn't big enough for the car and is full of stuff, I literally don't have anywhere (or the tools) to work on it.

Nor do I have a trailer suitable to move it, I don't like the idea of storage to let it rot, how would I work on it and move it around if it were in storage? Catch 22.

I know a professional painter down the road that could get the interior sprayed for me so it's saleable part-finished. The new owner would literally just need to re-fit the cab and components they want to use. It's man hour intensive, not particularly costly until you need to spend on dampers, but then most would throw some coilovers on it.

One seat, it was designed as a race car not for going shopping with the mrs.

The mrs in this instance gets replaced by a fire extinguisher system.

Found some pictures on Robinson race cars of the work, some of it -

I see you problem there. Is it at your folks house? I remember when you had their garage full of CRX's

I bought a towing A Frame to move my ATR about, £160 with light board, once id finished with it i sold it for exactly that on ebay.

Thats what i ment if you could just get the cabin all put back together, wack some "OK" coilovers on it, i bet there would be a whole load of interest.

Id give ya a hand if i was closer mate.
