Spacers will only make matters worse. The standard offset is ET55 on ATR's. :agree:

ET50 pushes the wheels 5mm further out than standard (each side)

ET45 pushes the wheels 10mm further out than standard (each side)

ET40 pushes the wheels 15mm further out than standard (each side)

The lower the (ET) number, the more likely that you'll foul the arches when lowered. :agree:

Most of the guys on here run no less than ET45 with 215 tyres. I run 225/45/17 on 7 x 17 ET50 and it is extremely close to fouling the arches because of the wider tyres and taller sidewall.

Unless you want to run the 'Euro look?' :dunno:

ahhh ok makes sense now.
so a 10 spacer would make the et 40 become et30...

i guess at et 40 id be looking at 215 x 40's or 205's stretched if they can be.
i dont mind the euro look, but im guessing arches rolled will be another thing i will need done.

Wheel size doesn't matter so long as you can fit them bearing in mind the width versus offset. :agree:

Does anybody happen to know if there are any companies in the uk that sell bodykits for the accord?
something to make the car look a bit non standard would be nice... either a decent lip kit of a full bumper replacement.

There is a few kits about, but nobody likes them! Its a grandad racer not a corsa :lol:

i'll have a hunt about. as i want some sort of lip kit at least like a rear difuser and front bumper lip etc.
