Hi,

I'm Gareth and I'm from Stoke-on-Trent. I bought a 2002 Satin Silver Accord round about a month ago now to use as my daily hack (I have an old Capri as my enthusiast car), and thought I'd join here to have a look around. It's the second Accord I've owned, but my previous one was a completely different beast altogether being a 1980 1st generation Hondamatic.

Here are the pictures:

At the minute I have a couple of plans for it. The first being to install a Honda HDD sat-nav sustem that I've got, and the second possibly sourcing a standard exhaust to put on rather than the stainless straight-through.

Cheers.

It's only a baby 1.6, but I've had it 7 years and it's my pride and joy. It's a 1985 mineral blue Laser and it's just ticked over 31,000 miles.

Lovely looking Capri Gareth, Couple of pictures of the book below under modern my name spelt wrong when I showed my white Laser D641 BSC, The best one I had was my 3.0s white with black vinyl roof HSE 397V. I need to take some time and scan some photos of my Capri's I had over the years and other Cars. If there's anything your looking for your Capri I have a full set of laser door cards and many other Interior parts, Bumper ends, light surrounds e/t/c :shock:/> Looks like I'm a hoarder as I have had them over 20 years.
Looking at yours it look's like it need's nothing but the care you have given to it.
You just made my day mate. :agree:/>

Yeah I'd love to see them.

If you have a mint drivers side Laser seat I'd be interested. Mines ok, but I'd like a spare.

You need to go through the bits you have to be fair. Bumper end caps like you mentioned, can fetch anything up to £150 each now. I've recently seen a as new parcel shelf go for £800 for example.

Quinton, as the reg's are "RF", they're probably both ex-HUK cars registered around the same time.

Sorry no seats Gareth, Parcel shelf's were always hard to get as most were cut with 6x9 speakers in them. I have about 3 pairs of bumper ends and most of all the other Interior bits. Radiator cover,A pair of 3.os rocker covers :dunno: Think I need to have a clear out.

Hi Bails, I live in Penkhull and work in Cobridge. So you may see me crawling between the two during rush hour lol.

I've orded a new center pipe and back boxes for it today. Honda don't have them in stock, so I've got to wait 'til July before I can take the noisey ones off. That'll please her indoors.

I've also got a sat-nav fitting kit coming from a dealer in Germany to allow me to have a double din where the heater controls are now. The downside is that it's a 16 hour job by Honda's reckoning.

Just out of interest how much did that set you back and I thought they stopped making them a while ago? :dunno:

Bet its not cheap!

If it was me I would of gone for a Stainless Steel one but in an OEM configuration. I bet it would of been cheaper and will last longer as well. ;)
